Access methods are only one part of selecting a lock. Power requirements and installation details also belong in your comparison sheet. The published catalog provides a starting point; confirm the final configuration before placing an order.
Check the battery format by model
DS800 and G90 list four AAA batteries. GA01 and DS0058 list four AA batteries. G000P lists four AAA batteries. This distinction matters when preparing product instructions and the supply package.
Ask what emergency power means
These models list USB Type-C emergency power. Confirm the operating procedure and required power source in the model documentation. Emergency power should not be described as battery charging unless that function is explicitly confirmed.
Confirm the door preparation
Provide door material, thickness, existing hole locations, backset and handing information. Ask for a dimension drawing for the exact model. A catalog description such as “wooden doors” is a starting point, not confirmation that a lock fits every wooden door.
Review the intended environment
Compare the stated operating temperature with the installation conditions. Temperature information alone does not establish weather resistance, waterproofing or suitability for exposed outdoor use. Request the relevant model documentation for the intended application.
